Wooden Deck with Bench

This wooden ground level deck was a a fun project, We were on a time crunch as well as tricky ledger connections, rot repair, and buried obstacles! We worked until dark and while it rained to get this job completed beautifully and on schedule (my schedule not the clients)! This new deck is quite a bit larger than the old one and it required securing the ledger to structural brick and to studs instead of to the rim board of a house like usual! The portion of sheathing under the double window was rotted out a required replacing before the ledger could go up! When digging he footers, we found the main sewer line, lots of tree roots, and tv coax cables! I think it turned out really well and i can’t wait to see what it looks like after it has been stained or painted!
