Ground level Composite deck

Deckorators Venture Sandbar Composite Deck

This ground level composite deck turned out beautifully and it was a fun challenge because of the time of year, its height, and all the angles!

The first challenge was the client requested I only work between 9am and 4pm, which seems reasonable but when you consider it was the hottest month of the year and I could only work during the hottest hours of the day it was tough, I had to pick up a canopy to provide some shade and borrow a very large umbrella to shade my dog as well (photo below)! This deck’s height off the ground required thought as well, had to be creative and work within code requirements to keep the beams out of the dirt and damp! This deck I larger than the previous one but we wanted to keep the nice angles and shapes. It took a lot of trial and error to make all those angles fit well! But overall this deck was very economical compared to most composite decks because it didn’t require railings!
