Ground Level Pressure Treated Wood Deck

Before we started work.

After we completed work! The homeowner decided to bring in fresh fill dirt for along the bottom steps and beside the stairs.

This Ground Level Pressure Treated Wood Deck has several non-standard features! The deck boards running perpendicular to the house required more framing but turned out really nice with the doors looking out onto the deck and into the backyard. This deck also features stairs running the whole length of the front side! We enjoyed the morning shade and the stairs turned out perfectly. An important step of the build that you can’t see is the grading work we did after demo, the ground under the deck was sloped towards the foundation causing issues in the basement. We were able to get in and slope the ground away from the house to solve that issue permanently!
